Insanejad says there is no such thing as absolute.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '"')There's nothing known as absolute," he said

In other words 2+2=5. It's all relative. Except for Islam and Iranian law. And if you say otherwise you should hang.

You mean you are actually willing to admit the religous nuts who run Iran are not only slaughtering their own dissidents and homosexuals, they have a hand in the slaughter of the Iraqis too?

Ooops. Rocco's honesty phase just ended..... The Americans killed on 9/11 were murdered, not executed. Mass murder and random crazy killing by insane religous nuts like the 9/11 Islamicist zealots are murders, not executions.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hat's funny, the Jewish adherents of Leviticus (a book of the Old Testement and or Mosaic law supposedly revered by Jews, Christians and Moslems as being divinely inspired) were immune to most of the effects of Plague in Europe simple because they followed the rules about cleanliness and purity of food and water.

That's cool. Never learned that. Who said that holy books are full of rubbish?

That was probably a reason why there were attacks against Jews during the Plague. Everyone else got it and Jews didn't, so Jews must've been the perps, right? Pogroms against Jews ensued.

Do Islamic people who follow Sharia law always hang homosexuals and stone adulterers to death? Or can they stone homosexuals and hang adulterers if the mood strikes them? Or can they mix and match at their public mass executions of sex criminals to keep things interesting?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', 'D')o Islamic people who follow Sharia law always hang homosexuals and stone adulterers to death?

If you're asking seriously: the punishment can only be administered with either a non-coerced confession (which would never happen knowing the penalty) or 4 witnesses to the act, which likely won't ever happen.

If you're trying to be funny, try again.

There is nothing funny about Islamic fundamentalists killing people after trying them for what the Islamicists perceive as sex crimes.

Your claim that such executions "likely won't ever happen" is untrue and ridiculous, because Iran is regularly executing homosexuals right now....they just held a mass execution of homosexuals by hanging. The grisly pictures were on the internet a week ago. Saudi Arabia has publically executed adulterers in the past.

Either there are a lot of Islamic peeping toms watching homosexuals and adulterers in these countries and testifying against them in court, or the judicial standard for executing people for sex crimes is different then you claim.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Does it have to be intercourse, or would kissing fall under this law?

What about two men holding hands?

Image

I doubt kissing could fall under that category, even with much passion and intensity. It would really fall to the discretion of the judge. Does that necessarily mean that they are intimate with each other to commit homosexual acts or could it be excused as a slip-up? It's not really clear. I've never heard of that actually counting. A real head scratcher though.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'D')o people sometimes conspire and falsely testify they witnessed such an act to get at someone?

Of course. That happens to every group of people in every nation. I think there have been about 100 or so (although I've seen some outrageous claims of 4000+) gays executed in Iran in the past 25 years, so about 4-5 a year. How often would two men or two women allow others to know what they are up to behind closed doors, especially knowing the consequences (which can be up to death)? But the way these judiciaries are set up, rumors are all that's needed many times.

Most, if not nearly all, of these executions and those in KSA, Pakistan, Somalia, etc took place not in accordance with the real Law. It's a real shame too. The government has no place in the bedroom.
