Paper Burns, Oil Burns... But Metal Booms!

Hello again my friends,

In this issue of the Privateer, they ask and answer many questions:

What are the Feds doing? Destroying the dollar like gangbusters.

Has modern liberalism anything to do with classic liberalism? No.

How did serfs gain freedom from their lords in ancient times? A few forward thinking and able of them lent money, and received freedom rather than repayment... Lords servant to the serf lender... ha.

What did serf-slaves have that we don't have today? Sound money... their earnings, however pitiful, maintained value as precious metals.

Folks, I am only half way down page 3.... you have 12 more pages to go with juice like that.

BTW, I told you that the dollar index would be featured here in this one. A quick keyword search says to look to page 10 for that one. USD on edge of abyss... indeed. And what other outcome has there ever been for a fiat currency in the history of the world among tens of thousands of examples? None. Zero bound, all! Paper burns. Metal booms.

Best,
Tate

[quote]GLOBAL REPORT
THE FED CUTS - AND RUNS
Faced with an accelerating collapse in the collateral which underpins the loans extended by the US credit machine, the Fed has panicked. On September 18, it cut both its Fed Funds Rate and its Discount Rate by 0.50 percent to 4.75 percent and 5.25 percent respectively. That's the cut. Soon, the Fed will have to run - away from responsibility - when the effects of these cuts show up as fast climbing consumer prices in the US.

I personally would appreciate it if you put your massive quote on a Blog somewhere and linked to it. Instead of making it all one massive post here I mean.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
