The 5 Most Kick-Ass Apocalyptic Prophecies

Unread postby Daculling » Wed 19 Sep 2007, 20:29:17

A review of different cultures' prophecies with referenced heavy metal cover art representations. Thought some here might like it... check out the Hopi. They are 100% on target.

All that’s left is the great wars between the White Man and his enemy in the deserts-

Goddammit.

The bad news: “the lands of the Hopi” means Arizona. The good news: It’s only temporary. Any day now, the Hopi are expecting the return of Pahana, or the “lost white brother” from the stars that left them thousands of years ago. When he descends, the survivors become wise and start making the world a better place.

bony female spider monsters from the stars. Way to go Aztecs! (except, well, those seemed more like bony male spider monsters from the stars if you know what I mean. then again it is planting a little alien in his stomach so I don't know. Damn, a person could go crazy thinking about this stuff)

I've always thought the christian one was pretty good , 7-headed serpants, sky turning red , frog and toad storms , all kinds of good shit going down . Wars between demons and angels , or sumthin' like that.I'd buy a ticket.
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave
