New technology uses sea-water for fuel

There's no shortage of seawater, and you don't even have to drill for it.

This is either another cold fusion, or a major discovery. 8)

"One immediate question is energy efficiency: The energy the RF generator uses vs. the energy output from burning hydrogen."

I bet the ratio is abysmal, which is why nothing more was said about that minor detail. It wouldn't have been hard for the researcher to provide an estimate, at least.

Then there's the problem of scalability.

I know where I'd place my bet: that we'll never hear about this again.

The YouTube video shows engineers who measured temp of flame produced by burning saltwater at ........1500 degrees C (W O W ! ).

It also shows a flame produced by burning salt water running a small stirling engine (steam engine). (**very interesting !** ).
