How the hell did a thread that was supposed to celebrate all that is the wondrous Shannymara turn into another pissin' match?

I told you that was me Jboogy.

Then AP said it was him.

Then Eli said AP was a lunatic.

Pretty simple.

I'll never toss stones anywhere. Quit doing that several years ago.

I've never been the subject of a HOF session, so feel free to do so if you like. If you do I won't be joining in because the only reason I ever go to the HOF is to attempt to extinguish anger and unhappiness. Anyone who's been here awhile knows this.

The creation of discord anywhere is the clear sign of suffering among the ignorant and unhappy.

My mission is one of wisdom, peace, and happiness.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jboogy', ' ')PMS none of your pictures show up
no, mine shows up all the time. It's the one of the guy with half his face in shadow and a smile and sideburns, with a big forehead and receding hairline. Kind of an older guy with a lot of hair on his neck. Brown tint picture. That's me!
That's the trouble with getting older, you lose the hair on top of your head and it starts to grow out of your ears and nose instead.

I have a very long ways to go before I can say I live completely by those words, but I do try. If we tried the world would be a far better place.

Give it a try yourself. :)

Those that embrace the battle exposing the tale of lies and distortions that rules over life's every breath I will continue to honor and respect.

Those that chuck stones and hide behind the masses of self righteous (look at me look at me I am the one in front of the airplane) egomaniacs will not be honored or respected.

Fairly simple eastbay.

.... well, I'm not too sure about that... everybody 'could' be a philosopher tonight. But yes, in fact, we would all be far better off if everyone was a philosopher every night! This place would be considerably more fun and educational if we all were. :)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('roccman', 'T')hose that embrace the battle exposing the tale of lies and distortions that rules over life's every breath I will continue to honor and respect.

I can't even imagine what your life must be like having this badly bent a view on your surroundings. It must have a large influence on your day to day existence.

Sorry you feel that way roccman.

When it all comes down to it, this little forum is quite meaningless. A tiny sideshow diversion for active minds. I dont attach any deep emotions or meaning to much of this stuff.

There are far too many things in this life which refute your outlook If your just willing to embrace them. Humanity , while flawed to be sure, is also far from being the morass you seem to perceive.

You need to get back to nature and take some time away from all this. Enjoy the small things in life which are good. Its all many of us will ever have. Its also what it's all about. Few folks ever grasp that and it makes life and the living of it far better than the bitter anger and frustration you seem to endure.

Strange night indeed jboogy.

PAH FUCKING LEEEZE, We call that apathy and therein you sit baffled and confused.

Father blessed you with reason and now as humanity faces it's greatest threat this is what you choose?
How much better then killing monkeys when silence enables the real killers...

Silly monkeys with thumbs...

Sometimes we must fight for what is right even if fighting is not right...

Now get the fuck out of the way before they cut your ass right in two.

At least someone will attempt to defend us all. At least a few will take a stand, here in this insignificant place as well as in the real world. Oam oam oam oam oam oam oam oam oam.....

Anger is a gift!
It is easier to enslave a people that wish to remain free then it is to free a people who wish to remain enslaved.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('AirlinePilot', 'Y')ou need to get back to nature and take some time away from all this.
If you wish to do it from the comfort of your armchair, I can't think of a better way to do it than to rent the Time/Life David Attenborough series The Living Planet from 1984. I've never seen anything like it. I haven't seen it in 23 years and am currently watching again by rental of the 12 part series. The encyclopedic knowledge of one of the 20th Century's most brilliant naturalists combined with astonish photography. It defies imagination how they got all those shots. I doubt it has ever been topped. For instance, there is the giant crashing of an ancient huge Kapok Tree after a storm. They just happened to be there at just the right time to film it. Or a Macaw flies into a hole in a tree and somehow they've got a camera inside to watch the Macaw scamper in to feed it's chicks. Or a python is swallowing an antelope and the camera is inside the snake watching the peristalsis of muscles ahead of the antelope. The list goes on and on. Incredible.
