$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jboogy', 'A') really good film is like a well-worn pair of cotton briefs to me , it gets more silky-smooth and easier to wear the more times you put it on . I'm working on being able to quote the terminator in it's entirety , jaws I pretty much know by heart "your going to ignore this particular problem until it swims up and bites you on the ass!" yummy , " that mr. Hooper is the U.S.S. indianapolis ", these movies are like a perfect chateaubriand , you slowly savor each and every bite and the week after you want the taste again. So what if you know how it ends , if you own a Rembrandt do you look at it only once? No , you look at it every day to hopefully detect a slight nuance of color or shading that you hadn't seen yet , or you look at it just because you enjoy looking at it , do you make love to a beautiful woman just once ? You explore each and every curve and crevice of her each time ,as if it were the first . Sure it won't match the first time , but you'll enjoy it just the same.
brilliant. That's my test of a really good movie: if you can watch it multiple times and still enjoy it.
Terminator and
Titanic both pass that test for me. and by the way how's this: "you're going to need a bigger boat!"
