I hope someone develops these-

What about making an organism which feeds off of viruses? I mean, we have bacteriophages, fungiphages and the likes. Why not create a bacteria with a human receptor that instead gobbles up the virus when the virus tries to enter the bacterial cell.

Then you could give this bacteria to people who are dying from a virus. Then once all the virus was eaten up, you give the person a bacteriophage that kills the bacteria. Or you give the person traditional antibiotics.

What do you think?

(Note: I have an idea on how to create the virus eating bacteria, in a very cheap and simple way, I'll probably develop later in my life if nobody else does.)
