$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TommyJefferson', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('hubbertspeak7777777', 'i')t. Did you ever see that one video where that fat politician guy (Budd Dwyer) blows his brains out of the back of his head at a press conference? It was awesome

You should experience these things in real life. It's less awesome.

This spring I shot a lame dog in the back of the head with a 12ga. shotgun. Blood gushed out of his mouth and nose. It was not awesome.

Last June one of my best friends shot himself in the mouth while sitting in a lawn chair in his back yard. He had become crippled, financially broke, and without options. I hosed off his lawn chair and picked bits of his skull out of the grass. It was not awesome.

I'm astonished at the response to your post. This is horrifying, and you've just been blown off, by other posters, metaphorically speaking. What a way to lose a friend! My heart goes out to you. There are some A-1 idiots on this forum.

Why, thank you. A friend recently sent me a video - the links are:

Part I

Part II

They're of a lion eating a rather foolish man...in front of his wife...and two young children...

(Seriously, some may be disturbed by the images. If you click, you've been warned. No, I wasn't disturbed by them.)

This man showed poor judgement all the way . . . starting with the decision to choose a woman that lacked the presence of mind to jump in the drivers seat and advance with horn and racing engine.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'Y')ou had better be really sure when you say stuff like that. Troy an' Jimmy an' those good ole' boys at the packin' plant just might lob one heck of lawsuit at ya' fat white ass.

It's common knowledge in the country that trappers take feral pigs to auction. It's tough to spot even with inbreeding within a feral pack. The industry is well aware that there is little testing done at auction and diseases get swapped snout to snout. Many a industry spokesman has blamed the lack of testing but balance the finger wagging against cheap inputs and over all unawareness of consumers.

Draw your own conclusions, just cook that pork well.

I imagine when the WalMart trucks slow down we will see a equal number(if not more) of hunters taking more pigs than deer for the meat. Pig harvesting does not require a $100 deer tag or a $1000 trip to Cabela's. Plus you can get more loin off a feral pig than a Whitetail deer.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I should clarify not "everyone" eats it here, it's the rural native georgians that eat it . I got a neighbor that I get eggs ,pecans and other stuff from whose husband practically gives me the wild pork.(no pun intended)He loves slogging thru the wetlands and swamps hunting pigs and deer. You can eat lots of snake too if you want , tastes pretty good. I got mushrooms all over the place. You find peaches growing wild , wild grapes (not bad), There's remnants of pecan groves everywhere, we come home with a bucket of pecans everytime we visit someone, chances are their house is in an old grove.I don't see anyone starving around here should the shelves go bare.
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave

I grew up on a farm. We raised our own meat. This may be strange to people who grew up in concrete jungles, but to us down south wild pork is a pretty common thing.

Thank you for the kind words. They are appreciated.

One thing I do look forward to about Peak Oil is the weeding out of the infantile spoiled brats easy living has allowed to flourish. In the past people were more courteous and respectful of other human beings because they had intimate personal familiarity with the fleeting nature of life and the harsh consequences that could result from ill behavior.

Does hunting offend you that much? Oh well, good riddance.

Lots of people bought houses they couldn't really afford on the assumption that housing prices would continue to rise. 8)
