"We were standing on the edges
Of a thousand burning bridges
Sifting through the ashes every day
What we thought would never end
Now is nothing more than a memory
The way things were before
I lost my way" - OCMS

I dont see why he is, there were some good things that came out of that bill. For instance:

It prevents the government from creating a list of gun owners from dealer records.

Opens up interstate sales of long guns on a limited basis.

Makes it illegal for anyone to transfer a firearm to a prohibited person.

Ended record keeping on ammunition sales, except for armor piercing

Specifically states that those disposing of personal firearm collections do not need an FFL and to get an FFL firearms do not have to be a principle business activity

I dont see why you would say he is a douche bag, we got some freedoms back through that bill.

And as for the link I sent, he made it possible for EVERYONE 19-26 to be drafted. That means the senator and other members of congress that will have a say in the draft will be effected as well. They all have kids and grand kids that may be drafted, they are gonna think a lot harder about initiating a draft than if they could just send them to college and keep them safe from being drafted.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Baldwin', 'L')uckily for me (at 17), the army would take one look at my vision score (20/480), and that I suffer from red-green colorblindness and point me to the exit.

No worries, you can always dig, clean and do a lot of other things for the good of whoever will draft you. As long as you can differ a shovel from a rag, you are good to go.
