"9021GROW" Craig X Rubin

Postby CraigX » Fri 26 Aug 2005, 14:14:51

Hi,

Please google 9021GROW or check out 9021GROW.com. I know that Peak Oil is here and I write about it in my new book. Thank you for your interest. I think that marijuana/hemp production is one way to lower our dependence on foreign oil. America is more vulnerable to Peak Oil than any other country because we are so dependent on Hydrocarbons for fuel.

Craig -

we do have a constraint here on people trying to sell stuff, but I'm sorry you got such a rude response to your post.

Given that you've gone to the trouble of writing a book related to PO, I suggest sending a PM to EnviroEngr to see if a review of your book might be arranged for the Book Reviews Forum.

Meanwhile, please feel free to go ahead and contribute as you wish.

regards,

I went to your "FAQ" but there's nothing there.

I am not sure what web site you are speaking about, but I am happy to answer any question that you might have...that I am able to answer....I like sharing my ideas.

I know the reality of Peak Oil...even when we find my oil sources they will take years to get on line. Oil demand is increasing as our world daily output is peaking. Peak Oil is not more difficult to understand than that.

I know that hemp is a resource for fuel. It will not replace oil. At the moment nothing will, but it can greatly reduce our need on a small scale for the importation of oil. Farmers can grow it easily and it has other uses as well.

Part of the problem for American National Security specifically is that we are dependent on Saudi Arabia propping up the dollar by selling their petrol in US Bucks...and the fact that we are not trying to kick our oil addiction. Hemp will aid in that trend and provide America with an instantly profitable industry to be taxed. Further, it will employ thousands upon thousands of people.

It may be an old thread, but it is more relevant now than when it was written....9021GROW talks about $100 per barrel oil back in 2004-2005.

Glad to see oil in the $60, but for how long?

Analyst on MSNBC said he was going long with oil futures right now because the fact is....we need oil.
