Hooray Jupiter422, you got a good T-shirt. I am having a customized T-shirt to go with my bicycle too. 2 week from now it will be ready.

The upper portion is "Peak Oil 2006"
The lower part is "Peak Oil get my car" . Currently I am riding my bicycle for buying groceries only.

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

How about a peakoil.com tee shirt?

Postby mmasters » Wed 01 Aug 2007, 12:19:34

I was thinking about this and if people would be interested. I am.

If a good amount of people are interested, any ideas for a good slogan and or a picture/diagram perhaps to peak people's interest? Just to throw it out there I was thinking a discovery-production graph with a "you are here" indicator at the top (hence: peak oil). Any of y'all have any cool ideas?

If anybody in particular wants to spearhead this is they are welcome to, or I could myself if nobody wants to take the lead.

Yeah! That's cool. It looks like that idea is taken though (or maybe we could ask to borrow it).

As well, the first one could be on the front of the shirt and this one on the back:

If we do a peak oil.com tshirt, please keep it relitively un polliticized. Not because I'm against politicizing in theory, but because I don't want to be stoned if I wear the shirt a republican convention or something. I want this to be something I can wear that's a coversation starter. I like the simple graph, avoid the wake up part, that part I can explain.

If we had such a shirt for sale, I'd buy it.

Good one, emersonbiggins, that's sure to get some attention from the sheep.

I think we should keep the ideas coming and then vote on which idea to use..
