ATM cash machine problems over the weekend

Unread postby WisJim » Mon 30 Jul 2007, 16:00:40

Anyone notice problems getting money out of your local ATM machines over the past weekend? A friend at a bank told me that there were problems with the computer interconnections with the ATMs, due to AT&T problems apparently. I haven't found any news items about it, but lots of people were unable to access their money through the ATMs. (I'm in western Wisconsin)

When these things happen, don't expect to read about in the newspaper until some 70%-80% are affected, and then they will write about it as "contained" and "limited".

My mattress was working just fine; thanks for asking! :-D

Seriously, though, I haven't noticed anything going on with local ATMs lately.
