The true believer wears a suit and a tie, although it can have other outfits and jobs. He has a mortage on the house, 2 cars and electronic toys for the whole fammily bought with credit. He likes to go to the mall, watch TV, eat fat and don't you bother him with any energy crisis nonsense.
The true believer wants his life to stay as it is at whatever the cost, for ever, he wants everything as promised. He smiles when his daughter talks about recycling but won't hesitate for a second about sending the enviroment to hell if that guarantees that everything stays normal during his lifetime. If asked to pay twice for gas and bills or nuke Iran he will choose Iran, if asked to slice certain freedoms or give up his lifestyle he will let some freedoms go, if asked to switch trains and boats to coal or give up kiwis from New Zeland he'll chose to keep the kiwis.
He delegates as much as possible in large organizations, the education of his kids, his food, his energy, his security, delegating is good, doing it yourself is primitive and therefore bad....
He will stand by the system like a loyal soldier, will lfight for it. If he has to work overtime without getting paid, he'll do it, if he has to report his neighbour for stockpiling he'll do it, whatever he is asked, but only as far as he can keep going to work, watch TV, go to the mall and eat fat, as long as everything is more or less *normal*.
If there is a big crisis he's mind will collapse and become totally undpredictible. Not that he will care about the enviroment or doing things by yourself.
