Conspiracy? Princess Diana's Fear of Murder

Unread postby dukey » Thu 12 Jul 2007, 21:15:31

I'm sitting there listening to the radio this evening and they have some psychologist on talking about people that believe conspiracy theories. They said if you thought 911, dianas murder etc etc was a conspiracy theory then you must be this type of person then he gave some elaborate explanation as to why people would think these things. People need to believe in something more. The conspiracy theory makes them feel superior to others that don't believe it. Proceeding to tell us that people in the ages 18-35 were more likely to believe in this theory like the death of Diana .. people in ages 35+ were more likely to believe a different theory JFK etc, and generally making people out who believe any non mainstream opinion to be nuts. This is on the BBC ...

Makes you wonder, whos pulling the strings on the BBC ? Who is behind the scenes shaping public opinion to fit with policy .. Next I find this article in the news ... from 3 days ago.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') LETTER in which Princess Diana claimed Prince Charles wanted her killed will be presented in evidence in full for the first time at her inquest.

In the ten-page document she chillingly reveals her growing fears for her life, saying: “My husband is planning ‘an accident’ in my car.”

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')n the brief excerpt that has been released to the public, she writes: “This particular phase of my life is the most dangerous. My husband is planning ‘an accident’ in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the
path clear for him to marry.”

Just casually admitted in the back of the paper like it's no big deal. Then just like clockwork out comes the propaganda to remind us that if we believe any alternative explanation as to what happened in any given event, we must be nuts. Of course most people simply don't do their homework, they just believe whatever they are told.

Dammit, my Steel-reinforced, ultra-low-sensitivity Irony Meter just blew out..

Princess Di got into a car driven by a drunk driver at more than three times the speed limit without putting her seat belt on. That much is *known*. Would you do that?

The other slight problem is that (Despite what the daily express et al would have you believe) the majority of British people really don't give a damm about the royal family and would not have cared about any remarrage.

Is there any conspiricy theory you *don't* believe? We at the Illuminati need to know, it's taking half our man power to keep an eye on you..

I don't think thats the point, although I might be wrong.

The point seems to be that if you come up with your own theory as to what happened in any given reported event, then you are called crazy conspiracy theorist. There is a lot of effort put into reinforcing this social reaction to those with different opinions.

Ooops, there I go, conspiracy theorizing.

There also seems to be a conspiracy to tell us that buying shit will make us happy. I must be a bit wacky.

Disclaimer: I believe Diana died in a car accident, regardless of whether someone wanted her dead or not.

Well given the evidence, it makes Charles a murder suspect. I am sure he will be able to wiggle out of it though.

Apparently not. He seems to buy into them all.

The great irony is that he accuses all of us of being gullible suckers, when he regularly displays a naive gullibility that would bring tears to a con-man's eyes. He's a grifter's dream come true.

chomsky talks quite a bit about this. it's transparently a method for shutting people up when you can't defeat them in rational discourse.

incidentally, this phenomenon is on display in my thread on global warming.

The people police the people.

Step outside the comfort zone, the box, and then you'll see.

"Critical analysis of current events is a complex process that is not systematized or rigid. All the information you see or gather is, generally, a combination of truth, half-truths, and error. Filtering out the truth begins with finding reliable sources, as well as critically scrutinizing sources that are known to have a specific bias.

Reliable Sources: No journalist or historian bases his writings on original material, except when relating what he or she personally experiences. This world is much too big with much too much going on for anyone to directly witness anything but a small fraction of life’s happenings. Thus, we all have to rely on sources of information. As all of my readers know, most of the world has become heavily reliant upon the establishment media. People are busy, with little time to study and analyze current events. So they scan the front page each day, or watch the TV evening news, relying on these easy, quick sound bites to "inform" them about the world.

Almost everyone who gets this minimum dose of daily news thinks that they know what is going on in the world. This is not so, even though the media rarely tells an outright lie. What writers and editors do is purposefully omit key pieces of information that would significantly change people’s opinion about what is being presented. This brings up the first rule in finding reliable sources. Search for someone who is skeptical of the official version, and who searches out key information that has been withheld by establishment sources.

It is fascinating to see how uniform the evening news is. No matter which channel you turn to, the same stories appear with the same general emphasis, even with regard to local stories. A common illusion today is that Fox News is significantly more conservative than the other big three networks. Not so. Fox is merely playing the role of the pro-government cheerleader, just like CNN did during the Gulf War, when it came out of obscurity to become an instant major player. That never happens without government ties. Meanwhile, the other three majors are doing their part. They criticize the current administration mildly, enough to satisfy the liberal opposition. In reality, however, they are part of the same machine designed to protect any insider administration, whether Democratic or Republican, from its strongest critics on the constitutional right. They make sure they keep the most damaging evidences of conspiracy out of the public eye."

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'J')ames Andanson, who followed the Princess's every move in the week before her death, was thought to have committed suicide

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') saw him at close range and I'm absolutely convinced that he had been shot in the head, twice

Diana was a gentle flower, her love of disadvantaged people will serve as a beacon of light for ages to come.I still remember where I was when I heard the news,I was being fellated by a smelly crackwhore and I had to tell her to stop when the T.V. spoke of her death,I couldn't continue with my lovemaking knowing that such a beautiful human being had been so ruthlessly taken from us.We love you Diana,we will always remember you. :( "Goodby diana jean, though we never knew you at all,
you had the strength to sumthin, sumthin
while those around you sumthin sumthin
your candle burned a log homo
your legend never did" [smilie=icon_cry.gif]
