True wealth is "How long can you not work and still live ok?"
Most Americans don't have this. The Goschutes Indians had this.
(Yeah yeah they worked a bit, but it was hardly work compared to the slavery we have now, with every meagre bite of food and every nodule of #2 when we steal time to go to the bathroom timed down to the last second and NO security, social relationships of any kind strdently discouraged etc.)

By becoming broke, bankrupt, and going to live in a backyard I am convinced I have become more wealthy. The people I am going to be living with are the salt of the earth types who are very rare. It may get ugly in this area as TSHTF, but there's a great deal of like-mindedness going on.
