I read a good Farley Mowat quote, something about how Canadians are the US's house slaves, but at least they're doing better than the field slaves, which are the South Americans.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('I_Like_Plants', 'I') read a good Farley Mowat quote, something about how Canadians are the US's house slaves

Farley Mowat didn't have a very high opinion of his fellow Canadians.....his career is bashing Canadians for what he felt was their evil and callous mistreatment of wolves, seals, trees, first nations people, etc. etc. 8)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('kabu', 'Y')ou think the NA would have won?

The Northern Alliance did win. Its a simple fact.

Right... very funny. Like I said, V1.0 needs to be recycled. Or just deleted.

Care to return to the argument, or do you admit your incompetence in the matter?

V1.0 does seem to be in need of a system upgrade.

At least it's not demonstrating symptoms of anger and unkindness in it's output which is a positive sign possibly signaling the needed upgrade may be minor and technical in nature meaning an afternoon touring Google may solve the problem.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('SpringCreekFarm', 'L')et's not forget how we got there. Canada went to Afghanistan as an ally with the US in retailiation for the attacks on the World Trade Center. It's as simple as that and is justified because it was solidly determined that that was where the enemy lay. We are still there because the quagmire in Iraq has been the distraction for the "coalition" and the job is not done in Afghanistan.

But of course, let's forget decades of US meddling in Asia including arming and and financing the Islamic Mujahaddin, foreign fighters infiltrated into Afghanistan to terrorize the leftist government. These terrorists are currently known as "Taliban" and "Al Queda" as kabu has pointed out, and after kicking out the Russian infidels they have turned their sights on the American infidels. Seem to me this is a problem created by the US and their "leadership" is only making things worse. I would not like Canada involved unless the US was replaced by "reality based" leadership.

And of course, lets not ask why the US (and its bribed and bullied "coalition") attacked Iraq.

It always comes back to 9/11 eh?
In 9/11 Truth Movement, Canada stands with us
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hat’s why it’s encouraging to know our friends up north have our backs. They care about what’s happened in our country because of 9/11, in large part because it’s happening more and more to Canada too. Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who once called the Kyoto accord a “socialist scheme,” is widely regarded as a Tony Blair-like Bush poodle. Canadian troops remain in Afghanistan despite large-scale resistance, and Canada recently installed its own no-fly list, which blocked one Vancouver conference presenter from traveling to the event.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('kabu', 'M')y government has its own no-fly list!?

Yup, Canada sure does.

News about the Canadian "no-fly" list was all over the local and national Canadian newspapers and the excellent news shows on CBC radio when I was visiting the University of British Columbia in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago......

I suggest you check out the newspaper and the radio programs or even the TV news occasionally if you are interested in keeping up with the news about "no-fly" lists or other current events in Canada and other places around the world. 8)

You have the memory of a goldfish. The things you say will never... cease to amaze us all.

And it was, of course, a non-event, in Brazil.

And I'm sure you are a very nice little girl.

Back to the subject please....

If you are going to take it upon yourself to tell Canadians what to do, I suggest again that you should be better informed about what is going on in Canada. Your ignorance of the Canadian "no fly" list shows you are out of touch. If you can't get Canadian newspapers or media, then try reading Canadian newspapers on the internet so you are at least informed about current events. 8)

Ha, you call that getting back to "the subject"? You dropped the subject after you stopped arguing with me about Canada's justification for going to war. Go back a page and start quoting from there, if you want to get back on topic.

And your "on the subject" personal attack is paaathetic. As usual, your rhetoric hasn't even been set up. Normally I don't mind it when things get a little personal, but come'on, this is like dealing with a kid that keeps calling me "poo-poo face"!

Yes, I am out of touch with some of the current events in Canadian news. I find most Canadian online newspapers a bore, so I usually just get my fill from my dad when he's online. Anyway, as Canada's silly "no-fly list" does not weigh into whether or not Canada's part in the invasion was justified, along with our not pulling out of there, I'm still in an informed-enough position to tell my fellow Canadians where "we" went wrong. Wow, eh?

But do go on and insist otherwise, so that it's even more clear how you lost you are- in your own tangent, too! Or better yet, let me know if I've been missing out on something that's factual and relevant. Don't sweat it though... as you can probably guess, I don't expect much (anything) from you.

So Colorado rules! It looks like a bad South Park episode 8O
Noble Resolve 07: Four days of “simulated” nuclear terrorist scenarios...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')his includes a simulated detonation of a “loose” ten-kiloton nuclear weapon Virginia harbor, smuggled in by a “foreign nation.”

This week Dick Cheney has also been warning of the “very real” threat of a nuclear attack on an American city...

...It is important to note the “Nobel Resolve” drills are dominated by NORTHCOM, the branch of “homeland defense” based in Colorado and responsible for shutting down the United States under martial law, as well as ushering in the merger of the US, Canada, and Mexico via the SPP...

...We must remember that CIA agent Philip Giraldi warned the American Conservative magazine that STRATCOM would launch a nuclear attack on Iran in the wake of a new WMD-style attack on American soil...

...We should not live in a constant state of panic and fear, or make any irresponsible predictions about Noble Resolve 07. But in the coming days, we can email this information to blogs, media outlets, friends and family. Congressmen, and others to help inoculate against any possibility that rogue “red teams” inside the drills may be activated.
