1) Without fuel supply delivery chains will cease to function.

2) Novacaine producers will go out of business.

3) Dental patients will scream in agony.

Not Funny!!!

I am off the oxies (only because I was taking 3 an hour!!!) and now popping 1600 mg of IBuforin a day plus the amox -

the gapping hole where my molar used to be is still very painful, but I can sleep better.

Life is gonna suck with a dentist!!!

Come on PMS. You and I will have long since finished decomposing before the world runs out of lidocaine. The stuff probably costs something like $0.25 per gallon to make.

In lieu of lidocane, is the crisp narration of a Al Gore Speech considered good a homeopathic substitute?

Could a Yoko Ono record overload the senses so much you could no longer feel the pain??

I never heard of lidocaine before, but I heard Yoko Ono and that's pretty grim.

It doesn't make any difference, what pain killers they use on our teeth. And I'm sorry, smallpoxgirl, if you still haven't got it, I would think that you would by now know that the cost of one pain-killer versus another is irrelevant. Best be growing some poppy..

The retail price is certainly irrelevant. I don't think the wholesale cost of a generic is irrelevant at all. It reflects the degree of difficulty of the technical process to make it and the number of suppliers that are set up to do it. The easier the process is and the more people that are set up to do it, the longer it's going to take before it goes away.

You could always use alcohol as an antiseptic and an intoxicant. :)

Yeah, all you need is an ice pack and a pair of vice grips to take out a tooth.

Good luck with that.

Some of it I'm sure it technique - the rock a bit then pop it out bit. Some of it is pain management and mental management - drugs and painkillers are good for that.

yes poppies may be on the menu in the future, if you're smart only for things like this. cocaine is a good local anesthetic. Ether is not hard to make, can be dangerous though. In the old Western movies lots of alcohol always worked, and I can say with a root canal I had that lots of alcohol wasn't bad - next time I have one like that I'm taking a flask with me and start nipping right away as I call a cab to go home.

Learning doctoring may be a good thing to do now, there are weird things about medicines it's good to know - I was listening to a guy tell me about how their dog got ripped up by pit bulls, and was at the vet and they put it on morphine, which created a sudden onset of diabetes, and now the dog's blind.

Here's what I think about kid. All those generations that went to church and prayed for virtue. And what did we get?
