spreading the word about peak oil-please read

this is NOT SPAM.

There is a site call easyhits4u and what it does is pay you $0.30 for every 1000 sites you view, but to my point.

when you look at a site for 30 seconds, you get 1 credit and you can then use that credit to make someone else look at a site for 30 seconds( as an example i will use LATOC) if people go to LATOC just for 30 seconds and just read the first bit on the homepage,it's likely they will want to read on and therefore theres a good chance that they will become peak oil aware.

If lots of people do this it will help spread the word about peak oil. It all depends if you want to help make the transition a bit more peaceful. If you use my link then i can send even more people to LATOC or to any other peak oil site.(like this one for example).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ElijahJones', 'I')t must be MLM, because $.30 for 1000 sights viewed for 30 seconds each is 500 minutes of my time for just $.30. Sorry that is 500/60=8.33 hours or just under $.04 per hour. You probably want to spread word of this opportunity in southeast asia where $.30 per day seems like money.

i'm not spreading the word so that people can make money,i'm spreading the word so that more people find out about peak oil.the money is just an added bonus.

NO!

I will block any of this bullshit, it will screw up the google ads and could potentially threaten the entire viability of LATOC.

DO NOT DO IT.

Send em somewhere else if you're so darn intent on evaneglizing.

sirrom, your idea is well-intended but Matt is right. I am a webmaster of several sites and, early on, I tried this sort of program and I can say from experience that it screws up almost every aspect of a successful website. This sort of random exposure is not the sort of marketing a good site and webmaster would allow, favoring a more targeted audience instead. Sites using this sort of service can (and do) suffer a severe hit to their credibility.

Also, never EVER repeatedly click on Google ads (not that you are, just saying) thinking you are doing a site's owner a favor by increasing his/her income, especially if the site belongs to family or friend! This will get the site owner banned from Google Adsense and cause them to lose revenue needed to operate their website.
