Every so often we get a loose wingnut who wishes to rant and rave about this site's policies.

We do not ban anyone unless they violate our Code of Conduct, repeatedly. Claims to the contrary are unfounded.

Publicly questioning our actions is the #1 worse offense you can make.

Moderator warnings are to be respected. This is considered a more egregious offense than violations of the COC. Do not publicly accuse the moderators or administrators of bias. Do not publicly question moderator or administrator actions. Do not publicly post correspondence you receive from moderators and administrators. If you have an issue that needs to be addressed, please contact the website administrator by sending a private message or e-mail.

Members who choose not to acknowledge moderator warnings, show lack of respect for the moderators or news editors, or publicly question their actions, will be immediately banned for 2 weeks for Moderator Evasion.

Where on this site could I find a good premiere about peak oil. I read some of the other sites out there, and checked out a book of Matt Simmons about this topic, but they are a little hard to follow.

We are inundated with false claims about bias and personal attacks on moderator actions.

Someone has an issue, they have an avenue for redress as the COC says, but it is not the public forum.

We cannot have our staff's ability to do it's job undermined.

Hmm, maybe stuff like that should at least be discussed in the HOF, but aren't American trials normally public? At least they were, I know now that anyone can be snatched off of the street and kept in some secret prison indefinately, but back in the golden age, the age of the Republic, trials were public, even the most heinous, and people would show up to be in the audience, reporters would go, etc. And it was reported in the newspapers etc....

I know, I know, how 20th century...

I'd better shut up now.

No real problems here, you let Raph go on and on and on until he really did break a "hard limit", I just think it's fun (and necessary) to see people running things to "come out and say it".

A lot of corporate sites will not "come out and say it" trust me. 8)
