Either Moyers has gotten really gutsy in his old age, or I had him all wrong - thought he was just another "everything's fine" suit.

He has made it difficult for honest criminals to conduct business. Now they have the USA montitoring every transaction they make. Every Tom,Dick and Abdullah trying to get away with something has the USA up their ass now. Also, its harder for wealthy individuals to go about their business. The terrorist training camps are gone. The terrorist network pretty much did whatever they wanted before 9/11. It was only a matter of time before they got a nuke. Now, everything is harder. Why? becuase USA is watching everything and everyone.

because of Bin ladens idealistic views.....

Well then NMB -don't you think it is a bit odd that OBL is not wanted by our country for anything related to 9-11?

10 most wanted by FBI

Are you suggesting that Bin Laden wasn't involved with funding, planning and inspiring 9/11??

I will say I find it odd that he is still "alive". Although I have my doubts about him being alive.

I read the link, 9/11 isnt listed. But it did say other attacks. Its interesting that they wouldnt list 9/11. I don't know what to make of that / if anything should be made of that.

Yes NMB - that is exactly what I am saying.

You may do some research yourself to learn the truth and stop playing the victim.

well, Ive read alot of the 9/11 conspiracy text. Some written by the same guy who had a mental breakdown. If thats what your suggessting , I just can't get support that paranioa. I can't even begin to articulate how I feel about that whole issue. I find it completely INSANE. As it is defined by the 9/11 truth movement. I can't phathom that intelligent people actually believe what seems like complete paranioa bullshit to me. That said, I'm not saying "a few" within the government at high positions may have looked the other way.....but thats just pure speculation on my part. I like what Kunstler says about it.....i find myself agreeing with him more often.

I regard the 9/11 conspiracy theories as a fantasy and a distraction from the real problems we face. It is especially unfortunate that they became associated with the Peak Oil issue, and that was obviously a result of Mike Ruppert's elaboration of them in his book Across the Rubicon, which brought discredit to his otherwise good reporting on the global oil situation, and tainted others like myself who regard energy as the crucial geopolitical and economic issue of our time. There is enough confusion in this nation without conflating the real concerns over energy with paranoid fantasies about government plots.
That said, I think the foregoing illustrates the pernicious nature of delusional thinking generally in our highly-stressed society -- and I am as concerned over delusional thinking, delusional behavior, and delusional politics as I am over Peak Oil.

Also, here is a good link on the subject;
