You think this has anything to do with the cratering housing market and stressed out people over increasing costs and diminishing pay checks...??

I think it has everything to do with it.

Increasing violence is a sign of a population under stress.
Kind regards, Katkinkate

Man this thread is starting out great!!!!

OK, so I was talking with some folks at a little booth for a ham radio public/emergency service club today and I was telling them what a joke that is, that there's no community any more as such to do service for, and rather than pissing them off, I found them in agreement! We all gleefully talked about how one must have at least one gun, and how the community will exist after the emergency, and the "others" are eliminated. I'm telling you, we were feeling the love - too bad Jack wasn't there! It was great, getting warm fuzzies over the thought of severe depopulation. Now, I'm not sure how much they were with me when I talked about capping the white trash first, but we were definately feeling the love.... 8)

"Laws" are the response of those in power regarding the "stress" of those without.

There wouldn't be so much stress that needs releasing without those laws which prevent you from giving an asskicking to someone who needs it.

I'm not saying that people should be violent. I am saying there people who need an asskicking. It's a dilemma. :)

Well, surely the increase in violence in a result of popular discontent over the incarceration of Ms. Paris Hilton.

As soon as she is released, everyone will calm down again.

"Very well! I will pardon Paris Hilton!"

Sadly, I can see that being the future. [smilie=icon_neutral.gif]
