23 days for breaking probation on DUI no I think 6 months would have been more fair. She's already got her effing license back? Should have lost that for far longer.

I'm fine with county time but it should be in the men's section. :twisted:

Darn it. The last poll option got left off. It was my favorite. "Make her change her name to Paris Bodett." :)

I couldn't vote because your poll doesn't have my answere.

Sentence her to make another porno,only much higher budget,and with better lighting.Maybe throw in a few pigs and goats(I'm not into that kind of thing,but we're talking punishment here)and make her release it on the net for free.

Show the public what she looks like without her makeup, her manicure, her hair, and do an STD check up on her to see what diseases she might have. Release that to the public.

Not only would that effectively be a punishment, it would show there are consequences to bad behavior.

It's the fact that she's commiting such horrible actions over and over again, and getting away with it.

She violates the rules, she should have to pay the consequences.

Furthermore, another thing that aggrevates me is that she does nothing to deserve this attention. Some people thinks she's pretty. Big whooptie do. Personally I think shes rather plain if not all out ugly.

She isn't providing anything useful to the civilization, or even really accomplishing anything noteworthy. She's just misbehaving and being rewarded for it by media coverage, which in turn, gives her celebrity status which she can use to sell lousy products to make lots of money.

It's all rather sickening, it's disturbing and vile.

This is how I feel about it and I'm a man.

From a woman's perspective women probably find it even more aggrevating that Paris Hilton isn't being rewarded for her actions, but for her looks. It reminds them that they might never be able to reach that status than for no other reason than they weren't born a certain way. The lack of fairness probably infuriates them.

Take her out to the deep desert many miles form anyone and make her dig holes. Leave her there with a canteen of water and come back when her sentence is up (2 weeks?).

Leave my little Paris alone. There are many worse criminals than her that only get their wrists slapped. They are using her to set an example. If she was black, she would be walking the streets already. Believe me , I am not a racist, only a realists.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ElijahJones', 'I') just had to start a thread about my favorite heiress' recent troubles.

Don't cry dear. Yes, the Proletariat is wanting to make you an example. But hey 45 days in jail puts you in the company of some of the greatest people to ever walk the earth.

I'm speaking parenthetically of course.

Personally they should have put her with the others, to let her have a real taste of what it means to be "Playmate of the year". That'll help wake her up to the real world.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Is it just a distraction or is there a point that needs to be made?

Too right there's a point that needs to be made. Rich+Famous does NOT equate with immunity to the law (oh, if only).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Are the common people hateful toward rich young blonds without a reason, or are we tired of seeing the powerful get off easier?

For most people, likely the latter.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Does Paris deserve to be the example, the Marie Antoinette we lead helplessly to the guillotene?

OH GOD YES!!!

No. 8, Today's Hot Trends on Google Trends (USA)....... is.........

In other news, New Zealand and Australia lead the way in searching for peak oil, searches are declining however....:

Kenya leads the way with climate change, followed by Nepal and New Zealand:

And Price Gouging is a screemer in the US for a short time, distantly followed by Canada. Strangely lacking in the last year or so.

Glad "they" came to their senses.

I am sure it would not have started a revolution but it sure would have been in the peoples face that the rich can do what they want. 8)

She is fabulously rich and is willing to show here ass on avi files.

Pretty, that is relative. The richer you are the prettier you start to look. Take JLow's makeup off and she looks like just another LA girl in the barrio that no one would call princes.

I'm disappointed they didnt put the little waif in with a bulked up aggressive woman named Tina with only 3 front teeth due to her "brawlin' tendancies. Now that would make for some interesting reality TV there.

Seriously I satisfied they took her back to the pokey. Was starting to believe that "celebrity justice" line for a bit there yesterday.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Twilight', 'D')oesn't mean she can't do her time in the infirmary.

Or the psycho ward:

Paris Hilton ordered to LA jail's medical wing

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '"')Her medical condition was deteriorating and we didn't know how to fix it," Baca, who oversees the county's jail system, said at a news conference defending his move to place Hilton under house arrest.

"We have her in the correctional treatment center -- that is a special wing. I am not going to say exactly what her mental problem is," he added.

Well, I am: She's a super-spoiled ultra-brat.
