I think this warrants a seperate thread from the main J topic. Not since Star Trek have fans frothed at the mouth so much upon a show's cancellation. And none dare call it - Doomer Porn! CBS eyes 'Jericho' resurrection.

There are no deals in place, and there are several hurdles to overcome, but the fact that the network is moving to resurrect the canceled freshman series is a testament to the legions of loyal fans who have been relentless in their campaign for saving the show, including sending tens of thousands of pounds of nuts to top CBS executives.
Talks are under way with cast members of the CBS Paramount Network TV series, including star Skeet Ulrich, to return. The network is said to have options on all actors, but deals need to be modified to reflect the unusual timing and size of the order. Proposed budget reductions would lead to some of "Jericho's" characters not returning for the abbreviated second season.

I hadn't heard of this show until after its demise. I hope it does return I might watch it. Not much of a TV watcher but having the DVR makes it much more possible to watch shows with a crazy schedule.

I watched it after reading about it here, and when it was cancelled I filled out a feedback form registering a complaint about it.

Given that you have computer access you can go to cbs.com/jericho and watch all the episodes online to your hearts content.

Recently, fans twisted the execs' arms into giving Stargate SG-1 its last season after an announced cancellation. I guess some of these shows lose profitability due to costs in special effects, sets, etc.
It's good to see the fans win a small victory again. We need one after our terrible failure at keeping Enterprise alive.
