Ross Perot sabotaged himself and Steve Forbes was just too creepy.

The dems systemically went through state by state and did all they could to put legal roadblocks and hurtles in the way of third party candidates after Ralph Nader cost them the 2000 election.

Its much harder now for a third party candidate to get on the ballot. Nader spent most of his money in 2004 in court battles just trying to get back on ballots he'd been on in 2000.

Ross Perot had it right all the time - and EVERYONE ridiculed him for telling the truth.

I love Ron Paul - he would be the first president from the generation that was skipped - the Silents, born between the Boomers and those who fought WWII.

But if he wins, they will kill him for sure. The system cannot handle a free mind - at any level - bottom to top.

Don't count out (NYC) Mayor Bloomberg. He's a Perot with a track record. If he took a stand for something that was lacking by both parties (not hard to do) and dumped a billion or two of his wealth (he's got it) he may have a chance. Still a long shot though

Bloomberg's decision whether or not to run will depend on who gets nominated by the two major parties. 8)
