It's much more common that you can possibly imagine. A bronze vase masses between 3 and 5 kg depending on design and sells as scrap for $20-$35.00
The replacement vase WHOLESALE costs $75-$135.00
If the cemetery turns it into insurance you will help pay for it with higher rates. If they eat the cost it means they can not do other things with their capital funds and that cuts into bussiness all across the board.
