That's actually Father Time. And yes, he's traditionally depicted with a scythe...

I can understand why it there, I just think peak oil in general has an image problem - too close to wacko Internet conspiracy theories etc. 1st impressions count for everything when someone 1st visits this site and I guess what I'm trying to say is that that the little dude just doesn't look very professional or serious.

I think it's a scream! Keep it for one more day. What's next, though? MLK day. Put up a MLK on there.

I though the grim reaper wore a black cloak, face/skull hidden and had a black skeletal hand clutching his scythe? Are we taking this too seriously?

Take a break guys, go grab a beer at the local pub or go to the coffee house and spend some quality time catagorizing people by whether they will die off or not! :P

For those into planning for the future may I suggest developing a sense of humor because the way things are looking your sure gonna need it. Lighten up and chill out guys.

I guess not everyone is hip to the new years reference. Father Time/Old man represents passing year.

Well it is now the new year, so time to bring in the baby graphic...

Yeah! A baby with a half-empty bottle of oil, and him kind of holding it at arm's length and looking at it.
