Just draft all the plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills to do liposuction on two-thirds of the country. This will supply us with enough fuel to ensure the desired "soft-landing."

Animals store body fat to survive famine. Fat people would survive longer in such a famine caused by a fast crash scenario.
