Unread postby oddone » Mon 09 Apr 2007, 12:08:46

Has anybody read this book by Vernon Coleman -
http://www.vernoncoleman.com/main.htm

Any reviews? Advetisements for this book has been banned in the UK, maybe that means absolutely readable.

Don't know, but I just ordered it. I'm always tempted by the forbidden fruit. If governments say, "You can't read this," then, in my book, it's a "must read."

Can't find any reference to the UK advertising ban on the net, apart from VC's own web site.
The "advertisenment" I received came with last Saturdays "Telegraph" while in Devon - same county as the publishers. It was just an folded A4 leaflet crammed in with all the other magazines & bits they stick in the newspaper. I have ordered it, seems like an interesting read, also including Peak oil.

It's simply available through Amazon.co.uk, so let's not cry wolf.

By the way, the author will also be delivering a speech here.

What it is? The Glastonbury Symposium, Investigating Crop Circles
and Signs of Our Times.

Now I really wonder how crop circles fit in with all out fascism.

Any social critic who wants to be taken seriously, should steer away from such venues.

Not that I don't see the danger of total control he's refering to, mind you.

First impression: the guy is a general social critic who isn't particularly an expert in anything.

Re. crop circles: that's too funny. We already know the answer to this one: a form of prank-art that got popular and developed stylistically in the manner of graffiti. Case closed, on to the next.
