Peak Oil and Environmental/Conservation Songs

Unread postby turp182 » Tue 03 Apr 2007, 19:50:47

Here's a couple of songs I wrote recently. These are just acoustic versions, my band will actually be performing rock versions of both (including female vocals on Eden as it has two singing parts).

Eden - It's about environmental destruction, the difficulty of conservation, and the fact that Earth really doens't care what we do.

Depleted - About the impacts of high energy costs. I don't mention oil but that's what the song name is all about.

Obligatory self-promotion:
Blind World, the band I sing and play guitar in, is playing at the Ground Floor this Friday, April 6th, around 10 PM. The Ground Floor is in Belleville, Illinois (burb of St. Louis, MO) at 215 E. Main, two blocks from the fountain. We play all original melodic rock.
