Apmex.com...a good dealer? (and another question)

Unread postby Baldwin » Tue 27 Mar 2007, 22:04:30

I am always on the lookout for (relatively) cheap gold that can be bought over the net via credit card or some other convenient form of payment.

:Linky to the gold section..

My current dealer is a thief. He wants $740 (USD) for a 2007 uncirculated gold eagle....that is almost $80 over spot.

This Apmex guy sells austrian philharmonics for 684...$20 over spot per ounce of gold is a steal in comparison these days.

What would be an affordable gold coin (under 400) that you would recommend?

Amer gold varies. Certian items are higher, some are the same price. However, they have the more convaluded ordering.

I have never bought online but do check apmex's prices. From my limited resources, they have had the lowest prices.

I like coin shows. Cash and carry, no insurance, no shipping & handling, just a little gas money.
