No, the thing to do is resist like hell.
I'll tell you (and the folks who monitor this board) one thing: If it ever comes to mandatory implanted chips, particularly if they are GPS-trackable, that is one of my threshold events for supporting a violent uprising.
(While we're on the subject, just for the sake of reassuring those who are watching us here, my other threshold events are: Suspension of the Constitution. Suspension of elections. Mass internments of US citizens. Shutdown of the judiciary. Suspension of Congress. The reason mandatory GPS-trackable implants make the list is because, instead of putting citizens into internment, this would be putting the internment into the citizens. The common denominator is, these are conditions in which all avenues of legal change or recourse have been shut down, or in which there is mass physical coersion used against the citizens. Seems to me we're (still) far from any of that. Good. Let's keep it that way. Election 2006 proved that the system still works. I can hardly wait for Election '08.)
The thing we all should be doing right now is bugging every single person we know to be sure they are registered to vote. Then next year, making darn sure each and every one of them does vote. Last year, We the People averted a potentially enormous disaster. We can do it again. The way to make it work is to make sure there is such a huge tidal wave on election day that no amount of cheating is sufficient to overcome it. Every single vote counts. It's not just a right, it's a duty.
