where are we headed? based on the estimated computing power at the end of the video , I'd say terminator world. Aaron , whatever happened to your walking robot man ? whenever I used to see him I would stop and just watch him for at least 5 seconds , something almost hypnotic about that thing.

If you are one of those people that scoff's at the 'techno-fix' this should give you pause.

not only is the 'techno-fix' not completely inconsequential, it is an issue equal to or greater than PO itself, the only difference being that it might have an upside.


If you aren't aware what the terms 'Omega Point' 'Singularity' or 'Law of Accelerating Returns' mean and signify, then (imo) you aren't nearly as educated on the world as you think you are.


Fun Fact: the most powerful computer on earth is 'Seti At Home', running at 15 TeraFlops (15 trillion floating point operations per second)
