Better Than "Money Masters"

Unread postby mattduke » Tue 20 Feb 2007, 02:35:33

You can't understand peak oil depletion economics, or any other economics, without a solid understanding of our monetary system. The money masters video is lame compared to this book. If you want to understand money, this is a fantastic read. It belongs on your bookshelf right next to Mises and Rothbard. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Sounds like a good good book. Not too dry, though? I hope it is an interesting read, combining history with banking.

I understand the oddness that is fractional reserve banking, but look forward to reading the history of it.

They sell a dvd that is very good, I highly recommend it. It may be avialable elsewhere on the internet.

Wow that book looks big.

50 dollars is very cheap for such a large book with extensive research. I recently ordered a book for 100 euro's (around 140 dollars) about geopolitics.

Though I have some big reservations on "Money Masters" and also on "Money as Debt", this book should be a high quality pick, so thanks for the link Gideon, and I might buy this one too [smilie=icon_wink.gif]

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Gideon', 'H')ey Bas, I'm considering reading it, but I can't stand reading off the screen.

believe or not, i read 2-3 books a week online, while having hundreds of unread good books at home. I dont even know why.

I prefer paper over the screen when it's more than 10 pages, I think it's easier on the eyes. Also I like to read in bed.
