Well, they announced increasing production in the next few years, and since we are at peak they are going to have to rearrange distribution.

They can start by putting light switches in their office towers, so they can turn the lights off at night.

It occurs to me, another reason to encourage conservation is if they are expecting a(nother) war in the middle east. For example in Iran, shutting down the Strait of Hormuz. Hmm.
