[/url]
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')t took a big appetite and an even bigger bank account to get through tonight's meal at the Dome Restaurant in Bankok, Thailand. It was billed as the most expensive meal ever served.

After 10 courses, prepared by some of the most famous chefs in the world, each accompanied by its own rare wine, each diner was presented with a bill for one million Thai baht. That's about US$30,000, and the tax and tip were not included...

We have tried with our first creatures but we could not make them venerate us.
So let us try to make obedient respectful beings who shall

Actually only 15 suckers/wannabees paid. The rest were guests.

Still, $450,000 goes a long way in feeding forty people.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

Wow...30,000, that's ~180 lbs of silver or 4 lbs of gold's worth. It always annoys me that people with money don't know how to spend it.

What a shocking waste of money.

The waiter over there is just a slave of the system and I doubt he gets to keep his tips. Personally I think anyone who spends 30,000.00 dollars on a meal instead of helping his fellow man should be sliced and diced and servered to some starving pigs.

Why is it that when I read the title of this thread, I assumed it would be some black tie white house banquet?
