What happened to that survivalist against the gov?

There was a story on Fox that aired maybe a month or two ago about this hardcore survivalist that refused to pay taxes. I think he hadn't paid taxes for over 10 years or something. He was also entirely off the grid and self-sufficient.

I vaguely remember him saying (to a reporter) that the government has no right to tax citizens and that he doesn't care if he lives or dies.

Fox also said he was part of this underground organization that was anti-something.

They showed some footage of his retreat which looked impressive. It was basically a bunker surrounded by flatland with no trees at all so that you couldn't approach the area without the owner knowing. The walls were also like 10 inch thick concrete. A fortress basically.

I never heard anything about it after that little segment on any network.

What the hell happened to this guy?

Hey Strat,

He is still holed up. The Feds check in with phone calls from time to time. Here is the thread that reported it:

If you hear any updates on the situation please post them there. Ed Brown is his name.

I respect what he is trying to do, but he can never win. If they let one get away with it, then others might get funny ideas and we can't have a society of self sufficient people... the horrors
