Density of petroleum = 820 kg/m3
Density of hydrogen = 0.0899 kg/m3

Energy density of petroleum = 45 MJ/kg
Energy density of hydrogen = 120 MJ/kg

Oil energy per cubic meter = 36,900 Mj
Hydrogen energy per cubic meter = 10.788 Mj

P=i*e
watts=amps*volts
180 Amp/hours at 13.5 volts (per Meyers) = 2,430 Watts per minute
540 Amp/hours at 13.5 volts (per Faraday) = 7,290 Watts per minute

2,430 watts per minute = 145,800 watts per hour = 145.8 kWh

Why would I crack water with that kind of electrical energy available?
Civilization is a personal choice.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('greenworm', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')ut extraction of hydrogen from water will require as much energy, as energy released during its combustion to produce water.

Umm, no.

Umm, yes.
Carry on trolling, Sir...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Dreamtwister', 'Y')ou aren't even trying any more. My legs are getting tired from running so many circles around you. I'm going to go sit down until you can show me your working perpetual motion machine.

I'm not going anywhere, I'll be right here waiting.

I think, you are taking one monkey too seriously.
I noted, MQ had resigned as senior moderator and we will see more monkeys as a result.
That is called progress. Relax & get used to it.

O.k. Hydrogen has more potential energy by mass. Yes, by volume it is much lower and hence is probably not feasible for long transportation if the H is to be stored on board (plus, I don't think I'd feel comfortable riding in one of these) :lol: , but it is more than viable as an energy source for the grid. All other types cannot compare in this respect for it needs to be transported to where the energy is going to be released and isn't too good for the air quality. No one here can accurately disprove or prove Mr. Meyer's contraption works or doesn't. But I do enjoy watching you try. :lol:

Also, keep in mind. The energy required to run an ice is nothing more than the amount necessary in a combustion chamber to move the pistons. So, if Mr Meyer's contraption does work, long transportion would more than be possible, it would just require larger holding tanks of h20 than is required for gasoline/diesel tanks.

I started this thread and I feel I have fallen into a whole new world, H2O is a proven technology.

Yes there will be a peak folks. just not the one PO.com thinks.
Big Oil and NWO control all this shit. Even our diseases. I'm still gonna pack off to some farm though. I hate the food that is the product of factory farming. After looking into this tech anyone can make water into a plus positive energy. I have and have seen it myself got my go-cart running off water. Before you cry bullshit. I challenge any one of you to try this yourself.

If you want to save more money try this easy to build Hydro- booster.

I'll visit from time to time, but PO is not the fall.

Not sure I'd call it technology but I use H2O all the time!

Having experimented with H2 generators and as I summed up the production specs relative to input energy I call BULLSHIT. The "boost" comes by loading up the engine even more in a very inefficent way. Unless you think alternators don't actally use power? Entertainingly inefficent conversion of all that excess gasoline though eh? 8)

Good luck on the farm though. Probably a sensible move in any case....

OK, for every gallon of gasoline I will give you five gallons of water.
You have to deliver agreed amount of gasoline to my location and you will be given five times as much of water upon gasoline reception.
Should you be satisfied with sea water, I can give you 10 times as much, as I happened to live at the seaside.
We can arrange details, so you wish...
