$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Zardoz', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WildRose', 'I')'ve always wanted to see San Francisco - just a romantic notion, I suppose. For those who've been there, is it worth the trip?

Absolutely. One of the great cities of the world.

That's cool. Yeah, it's just one of the few cities I've ever had a desire to visit. About 20 years ago, I drove down the west coast from B.C. to the Redwood Forest but that's as far south as I got - ran out of time. It was a beautiful trip, but I'd still love to make it to S.F.

The utter collapse of "civilization"; 99.9% dieoff of all humans. This is truly the only reason I go on living (i. e. ; Getting up and dragging myself to an internet connected computer to apprise myself of the latest human stupidities--and believe me, they're coming hard and fast.)

I'm not really that interested in surviving dieoff by much more than it takes to confirm it actually happened.

But, then, I've always wished I could have seen the sack of Rome.

Earth from the moon, sans suit if necessary. It would be a happy death.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

I'd like to see a shuttle launch before the end.

I'd also like to see consumerist capitalism lying along side communism on the scrapheap of history. Those of us who are in-the-know already see that it's been thoroughly discredited, it's possible that the rest of the world will catch on during my lifetime.

I'd also find it stirring to personally witness a "human wave" type of attack. If you've ever seen Alexander Nevsky, you probably know what I'm talking about.

The Southern Caribbean, and a few other spots in Eastern Caribbean.

To date the most majestic things I have ever seen was Bald Eagle diving to catch a fish up close and the birth of my daughters.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

PrairieMule~I was in Barbados just a few years ago. Love to go back.

I would like see and explore all the back channels of the Amazon, with a couple of fishing rods and a box full of tackle, while eating wildly grown Papaya and Mangoes and Cocoa Pods, while hot Brazilian girls are nakedly thrashing in the shallows bathing themselves.
lawns should be outlawed.

Barbados was an English colony. I love to go to English colonies. I have been to Puerto Rico, Dominica, St.Lucia, Grand Cayman BWI(twice), Cozemel(twice), and St.Thomas, St.Lucia and the Dominican Republic(scary town but good cigars!). I almost went to St.Kitts/Nevis. Trying to do the "Sid Meyers Pirates" tour as a life list thing. Belize is next on the list.

Grand Cayman is the best place in the world to "Hang Out". Expensive but very safe.
