I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the angels standing around him on his right and on this left. The Lord said, “Who will lure the West into ignoring the energy crisis , so that I might destroy them?”

One suggested this, and another that. Finally an angel came forward, stood before the Lord and said “I will lure them.”

“By what means?” the Lord asked.

“I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all the political advisors and leading businessmen.” he replied.

“You will succeed,” said the Lord. “Go and do it.”
