Anyone here that can help me with my economics?

Unread postby TaimyChoo » Tue 09 Jan 2007, 20:06:37

Okay, so I got to answer this question but I really have no clue where to start. I came here since you guys are economics-related message board in a way. Here's a part of what I'm doing.

Government Policy Towards Business

Group 3
You are members of a group called "Fat Cats" which is an association made up of employees of a government regulated monopoly.

1) How does social regulation differ from industrial regulation? What types of costs and benefits are associated with social regulation?

I have to type up at least half a page explaining the answer and I have no clue what the question is even about.

Well regulated Monopoly, hmmmm.

Maybe some sort of privatized utility like gas or power.

If your College Professor has hair down to his ass, go to a Sierra club website and regurgitate their arguments in a angry tone how deregulation has widened the gulf between social and industry standards.

If he/she tends to be conservative go to some industrial website and parrot the crap that is emitted from their PR dept. Companies love to trumpet the things they do being good neighbors when an industry is mandated to do something for the benefit of society. It's allin the spin.

Never use the textbook, they sure don't. You don't have to be right, you just have to win the argument. Lower level college instructors tend to be full of self doubt so a even a silly arguement can score an a A with structure and confidence.

Your gonna have to learn to bullshit a little to get by in this world grasshopper.

If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Careful Lokutus,

It could be the President Bush lurking as a college freshman. I'd never let you live it down if you indirectly aided a republican.

Tammy,

Just a thought here. If you had spent the time researching and writing this 1/2 paper instead of registering and posting on a dozen boards, it would be finished by now.

I think that's why I do so well with assignments - I can come up with a whooole load of crap in a very short space of time, which is a good thing because I also procrastinate alot.
