$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'A')lright, enough of this nonsense. Let me ask you something, lokutus, if science can't say why the Big Bang occurred, can you? There is simply nothing to explain it. We don't know any more than our ancestors did about why we are here. All the astronomical discoveries have brought us no closer to the ultimate truth. Why are we here? DMT experiments have reported consistent accounts of spiritual beings who have existed from the dawn of time. some are amused, some are grim. Since DMT is produced by the human pineal gland, it's something to think about.
After hearing Kaku speak on NPR, I bought his book. I'm working my way through it slowly. While I make fun of Xianity, I remain an agnostic with an open curious mind. Perhaps there is a god, I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty confident that it's not the one from the bible.
Why? Well, you see, any intelligence capable of creating the magnificent universe described by Kaku could never be so petty and evil as to intentionally create life so loathsome that it's doomed to the hellfires from the get-go and can only be saved by kissing the creator's ass, to paraphrase the Kissing Hank's Ass video. I won't even get into how the bible god has created billions who he knew would never even hear of Hank...ooops...I mean Jesus.
So there you have it.
If there's a god, it's a deistic one.
What will arrive first? Peak Oil or the Second Coming? My money is now on the latter.
