It seems like rail systems everywhere would look like that unless people cut down immensely on travel.

Do you mean like not going to work? Of course it will only be a problem if you actually have a rail/metro system already in-place. Not sure what the folks in Atlanta and Orlando are going to do when the time comes. Folks in Moscow and Warsaw (and many other places in Europe) may complain about the crowds (and stink) but at least they will still have a way to get around.

Besides Stratovarius, as a young person you might like it. It is actually a good way to 'meet' other people.

Well, the question is, how long do you have to wait to get a ride on a rail? Looks like a long time to wait judging by the video, and that could get a lot worse if people stop using cars all together.
