Best of 2006: Poster of the year

This category will be for the person who has contributed the best content to PO.com during the past year. For this category you will be nominating a person, so no need to link to anything specific they wrote. Do feel free to explain why you think they deserve the award though.

I nominate rwwff aka AgentR. We don't often agree on much, but he always presents his viewpoints in a cogent and respectable manner. He, as much as anyone here, presents a balanced conservative viewpoint to counter much of the perceived liberal bias around this site. He is one reason that I am not firmly in the doomer camp, and rather optimistic about possible scenarios for the future.

I feel I must nominate Specop... who without his "insane" posts, I surely would have left bored a long time ago.

PMS-for his cultural insight and sheer number of posts.

Just a reminder to encourage everyone to second, third, etc nominations that you liked. The goal here is to be able to come up with a list of the 5 most often nominated and then make that into a poll that will decide the winner.

Poster of the year, that's a tall order. I can probably only remember some good posts from the last few weeks.

Of those who I've found interesting or humorous to read lately include gego, elijahjones, blisteredwhippet and jack.

I always enjoy when oowolf finds his way to a library and pipes in from montana. On my "missing" list is BorneoRagnorak from Malaysia. What happened to Borneo? I hope he didn't get burned up with the orangutans in the jungle.
But how the world turns. One day, cock of the walk. Next, a feather duster.
