A couple of years ago if you turned on the TV you’d be bombarded with adverts for unsecured loans. Now, they’ve been replaced by debt consolidation: “I made one call to blah finance and lived happily ever after”.
But then you read this “One confesses to taking London taxis home, even though they own a travel pass, while another writes of how her "heart was racing" when she bought a designer handbag”, and any sympathy goes out of the window.
Tories are taking advice from Grauniad columnists on the welfare state now, they’ll say anything. They’ll get in, partly, IMO, because middle-england don’t want a Scot as PM.
But anyway, there aren’t any Kiwis who fancy coaching an under-achieving national rugby team North of the equator are there?
