They even put it on a stick, since ya know, our children are just oh so active all the time.

My rule is never buy a "Food Product" that requires an ingredient list, with few exceptions, such as (peanuts, salt) for my peanut butter.

One thing I won't miss is the food industry. The food we don't grow ourselves we will buy as recognizable farm commodities.

My rule is: Never steal a bit from the Daily Show and parade it around an audience that contains likely viewers.

I had a link to the video on YouTube, but apparently, Colbert's clips weren't the only ones pulled when Google took over.

Ok, I didn't steal the bit from Stewart. I was going to put up the video, but as you've said, it's been pulled.

Stewart's bit wasn't much like mine, from what I remember. I'd hardly call it stealing when all I did was bring up the same topic. So now only one person can talk about a subject? Everybody else who says something afterwards is stealing?

No, but give credit where it's due at least and say "I saw this on the Daily Show..." or something.

Had I used their joke, even partially, then yes, I would have quoted them. Had I been able to use the actual video, I would have referenced him. But I didn't, so I saw no need to reference him when he didn't supply what I wrote. Should we now reference those who inspire us to write something?

This was on The Daily Show? Aha! No wonder it's suddenly being posted all over the place.

Well he had me fooled. Since I gave up TV 2 years ago (and cable years before that) I have become a total idiot when it comes to pop culture.
I will still enjoy watching the ovepackaged overprocessed overpreserved overpromoted products of the food factories disappear from the shelves leaving only food that just came from a farm or a butcher or a dairy.

What?!? Is there a reason these clips were pulled? Copyrighted material?

I guess I'll have to start TIVOing The Daily Show again.

Yup, Viacom (parent company) whined and complained. Boo hoo.

I found over 900 videos each of "jon stewart" and "stephen colbert" on youtube. Were only specific videos pulled? The pancake on a stick doesn't seem to be there, but many others are.

Most of the videos were pulled. They'll eventually get to all of them, probably. Click on those videos and see how many are actually there.
