Tracking Everything Everywhere

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Katherine Albrecht', ' ')The ultimate goal is for RFID to create a “physically linked world” [18] in which every item on the planet is numbered, identified, catalogued, and tracked. And the technology exists to make this a reality. Described as “a political rather than a technological problem,” creating a global system “would . . . involve negotiation between, and consensus among, different countries.” [19] Supporters are aiming for worldwide acceptance of the technologies needed to build the infrastructure within the next few years. "And it was given him to give life to the image of the beast: and that the image of the beast should speak: and should cause that whosoever will not adore the image of the beast should be slain. And he shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and bondmen, to have a character in their right hand or on their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man: and the number of him is six hundred sixty-six."

Revelations 13:15-18

I never thought I would see the day I quoted scripture. This can't be a good sign.

Life seems more and more to be immitating science fiction. The Boys from Brazil have escaped the silver screen.

Seems that years ago I read a short story by Kurt Vonnegut about some guy in the future that had an implant that monitered his thinking and every time he had an incorrect thought he received a mind altering shock to cleanse the thought; sort of like an invisible dog fence.

Also some other short story comes to mind where everyone had implanted chips to monitor their every movement, and an underground existed to remove, alter and counterfeit chips to help people escape the corporate government control of everything and everybody.

These control freaks really do want everything under wraps.

Here's a new device. It's great. It let's you do things you couldn't do before. It will improve your life. Everyone you know has one. But your usage of it will be logged forever. The monkey cannot release the cookie which traps it's hand.

This sucks, I'm tired of the beast being in charge. Does good or righteousness ever prevail?

There seems to me to be a sort of Nash Equilibrium where evil wins every time because righteousness is transparent and evil is deceptive. I wonder what God's ultimate solution to this equilibrium is? I guess thats for him to know and me to find out.

I was just thinking: To answer my own question, If God is omniscient then for him evil's deceptiveness could not trump righteousness's transparency. Perhaps God will make everyone or maybe just the righteous omniscient. This could create a new nash equilibrium where righteousness would prevail.

"Good" can never triumph. It's a flawed concept that is contrary to the evolutionary processes that created us. There is no "good" or "evil", there is only "survivor" and "biomass".

If one cannot be taught to fly, he should be taught to fall faster.

RFID's go into US passorts beginning sometime this winter.

The covers will be shielded, but when you are asked to show your passport your info will be available to anyone around with the right software on their laptops.

Showing your passport in a hotel lobby? every person with a laptop in the lobby is a potentialdata thief.

If your passport is expired or close... get a new one before winter.

Once people are wealthy and powerful enough that its very easy and will forever be easy for them and their genes to survive, how does exploiting, torturing, enslaving, and killing other people and the planet even more help their survival? How does serial killing aid adaption or evolution?

They're being assholes and causing mass misery just for the fun of it. That is not survival. That is evil.

How does promoting policies that kill the planet help their survival? Do they have some kind of space ships and if they do why don't they just ditch us now instead of continuing tormenting us?

A lot of people are malicious just for fun because they enjoy it. They are evil, and you can feel the negative vibes coming off them when you are in their presence. they are not that way to get their genes selected at all. Evil is real
