$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'm')ost high-priced rural land has the view but no water.

worthless stupid striving yuppie achievers will scamper back to the city with their tails between their mercedes when TSHTF. trash.

40"+ / year in lots of places. Stick a piece of plastic on a hill and you got more water than you could ever hope to use. Rainwater capture systems are an up and coming big deal in Texas; drive 290 Westbound and the number of places selling truly immense water tanks for ranchette installation is quite amazing.

**nb, freshwater surface spring, city water, and pond that holds about 10-15 ac-ft of water, depending on level.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'I') live in california. we have all the rain in winter and absolutely none in the other season. so rainwater collection is problematic.

That would be annoying. July and August are sometimes annoying in that way here; but otherwise, we go from dank, to damp, to soggy, to drenched, and then back down; but dry... dry is rare luxury. Cool and dry, well, I usually put work aside, go outside with a cup of coffee, and sit there till it runs away again.

IPCC says we're going to get wetter. Joy.
