Especially since one of these fringe groups commands a couple of aircraft carriers and enough nukes to destroy the world a couple times over.

A thought just struck me. If we were living in the Middle East we would probably be standing at our own side of a 15 feet high concrete wall lobbing home made explosives at each other.

And here we are showering each other with smileys.
