I've heard about these, but today I got one. Somebody calls you up with some kind of deal where you will receive money. This one was some guy with a thick foreign accent (Egyptian?) telling me that that the US Government was going to give me $3000 for paying my taxes on time! I kid you not. I humored him a bit, saying, "doesn't the US treasury communicate by mail? So what is this, do you need to know my bank account number so you can send me the money?" He said, I kid you not, "Yes sir". I said "Ah, well fuck you" and hung up the phone.

soon the whole internet will be turned into a grand scam, with
nigerian scammers, and all kinds of bitches trying to make money by manipulating google adwords, spam blogs with empty content, amway /primerica/adcalls pyramid schemes.

This is a sure sign of collapse, human viruses and worms.

I have taken to hanging up the phone if I say hello and there is a long pause.

When using autodialers most time there is a pause before the gimp can get on the line.

I don't play with them, I just say no thanks and hang up even if they are still talking. Actually I prefer it if they are still talking.
