Bush's Fake Death Rocks the Internet

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TMZ.com', 'T')MZ has obtained a clip of the movie that has ignited one of the most heated controversies in Hollywood, possibly throughout the world.

"Death of a President" features a fictional scene in which President George W. Bush is shot and killed. The shocking footage shows the chaotic moments following the fatal attack on the leader of the free world.

The controversial film uses an authentic-looking blend of archival film clips, supplemented with interviews from actors cast as FBI agents, journalists, lawyers and suspects. The real-life footage seen in the film was manipulated with a clever use of computer generated imagery and voice doctoring.

The people behind the film have been both highly praised and highly bashed for their decision to make the movie. In fact, director Gabriel Range and partner Simon Finch had to be guarded by a private security team at this week's Toronto International Film Festival after several threats were made on their lives.

Would a fictional assassination have happened to ANY president or just our present one? Does such a film do more than simply capitalize on prurient interest?
